Born Into This x Miranda Bennett Studio Event

lease join us at Miranda Bennett Studio in Austin for our second conversation with Gina Giordano and Tara Brooke of Born Into This, featuring a very special *surprise* guest speaker. Miranda Bennett will moderate as we discuss body autonomy in the present climate, methods of empowerment, and so much more. This talk is ideal for anyone wishing for a more empowered relationship with their reproductive health, whatever stage of life they find themselves in.

Hellos and sips will commence at 5:30. Our talk will begin at 6pm.

This workshop is part of Born into This's Something to Tell You Initiative. This Initiative is about taking the shame and embarrassment out of reproductive health, laying a foundation for healthy behaviors and practices throughout life. Our integrated health approach starts with education about the body, hormones, anxiety and mental health. By sharing stories and educational materials, our goal is to improve physical, emotional and mental health among kids, teens and adults and equip them with new, modern tools and knowledge that are non-gendered and culturally affirming.

Space is limited, please fill out our optional event registration below so we know how many guests to expect.

Something to Tell You: a conversation about pleasure

Pleasure is for everyone! What internal narratives do we have for ourselves about pleasure? Is pleasure a priority in our lives or something we haven’t yet achieved. Is pleasure equitable? Let’s talk about how pleasure shows up in our lives and how we can have more of it.

Something to Tell You: a conversation about parenting

Fertility, birth control, pregnancy and birth will launch this conversation about a chapter in our lives that leads to parenting, or not. What questions or fears come up when we think about creating our own families – or guiding little ones to realizing their own bodily autonomy. The more we know about our own bodies, the easier it is to educate kids about theirs.

Something to Tell You: a conversation about periods

Cycles impact all of us. At the same time, most of us have little understanding about our body and how cycles effect our daily lives, creativity, partners, fertility, sex and more. No question is off the table as we start the conversation about our bodies with cycle awareness.
